I have become such a Nikki Hunter fan. I thought the first book was terrific and hoped for more, and I can't get enough.. I have read each new addition to the series with ever increasing pleasure and admiration. The character grows in so many ways, yet always remains true to herself and to life. The pacing in this book, the 7th, is especially crafty, full of quick turns and surprises. I love it, that's all, and hope Nancy Skopin gets on with number 8.Product details

Still enjoying this series...7th Nikki Hunter Mystery. This is not the best one and I wish it wasn't so short. Not giving up yet on this Nancy Skopin series and will look forward to the next book.
I read both #6 and #7 of the Nikki Hunter series in one day. They were both so good, I couldn't put them down until the very end. Can't wait for #8.
Nikki gets a client whose son is being threatened. She wants Nikki as a sort of bodyguard to look after him secretly. Although the woman is the mother, she is not exactly what she seems. The story takes a turn. Very good writing and the story flows.
Great book .. but it ended way too soon. I have read everything by Nancy Skopin that I can get my hands on .. but I do not like that the women are aisle in all of the positions of power. I realize that there are many female titans of business, but that doesn’t mean that every one in a book has to be female!

I thoroughly enjoy this whole series. I like the way she investigates and has a personal life, too. I would enjoy having her as a friend. This story is a little short but I still enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next story.
This series is awesome, & this seventh addition does not disappoint! You get suspense, romance, & a great story line. Love that Nikki lives on a boat & is an honest to goodness P.I. that uses her brains to solve her cases. It certainly captured my attention from beginning to end!
Nikki, is with a client, with the vivid details, we can image this woman, the reason, someone is out to kill her son. Based solely on the fact he seemed nervous and looking out the window, and seeing a woman with crazy eyes. Son needs a body guard, the hand shake with her, spelled danger. Nikki is busy 24/7 with observing differently employees, she is in love with Bill. People get killed, employees are fired, she is keeping a big secret from Bill. Her friends are many and loyal. The plot has many jobs that Nikki does, they are never dull. Always enjoy her books.
